Privacy Policy

The short version

Vedic Time doesn't collect your personal data, doesn't show ads, and doesn't use analytics or trackers of any kind. The location and date settings you choose stay on your device — never on our servers, because we don't have any.

What we collect

Nothing. Vedic Time doesn't require an account, doesn't ask for your name or email, and doesn't run any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs that send data off your device. We have no servers of our own and no way to see the locations, dates, or times you look up in the app.

Location

If you allow location access, Vedic Time uses your device's location only to calculate sunrise, sunset, and Choghadiya periods for where you are. This calculation happens entirely on your device. Your location is never transmitted to us, stored by us, or shared with any third party. You can also search for any other city manually without ever granting location access.

Where your data lives

Everything Vedic Time needs — your chosen location, date, time, and display preferences — is stored locally on your device. This local copy is what powers the app's calculations, and it never leaves your device.

Children's privacy

Vedic Time is not directed at children under 13, and since the app doesn't collect any personal data from any user, this applies equally regardless of age.

Third parties

Vedic Time does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only third party involved at all is Apple, for App Store distribution — governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature introduces new data handling — we'll update this page and revise the date at the top. We'll always aim to keep Vedic Time as private as it is today.
